I spent over 20 years in the corporate world white-knuckling my way as a high achieving perfectionist.
I was very successful at what I did, but riddled with anxiety and self-doubt.
I was afraid to acknowledge my emotions and avoided by overworking and overeating.
Eventually, I felt the physical and mental effects of years of imbalance and gravitated towards yoga and therapy to cope.
Therapy gave me a lot of insight, but I didn’t get the tools and daily support to take action and transform my life for good.
I finally found a life coach and the changes I experienced were so profound.
I learned that, like most women, I was socialized to believe that my worth and value were tied to external things like my looks and my pay check and that l should be happy all the time.
That left me feeling constantly anxious, full of self-doubt, people-pleasing and living a life based on what other's expected instead of my own desires.
Life coaching taught me how to change my thinking to create exactly what I want in life and how I want to feel and show up.
It gave me the courage to question and release beliefs that no longer served me so I could have the mental and emotional freedom I longed for.
I learned how to stop avoiding emotions like self-doubt and worry and make them less intense.
Now, I'm able to embrace and navigate stress and difficulties that will always be a part of life and have my own back, no matter what.
I feel more ease in family and work relationships instead of being triggered and feeling disconnected.
I can be present and tune into my child and his needs separate from my emotional state.
Most importantly, I live in a way that feels good to me so that everyone around me can do the same.
It only took the willingness to learn and practice simple, powerful tools and techniques.
I've helped a lot of people liberate themselves and have mental and emotional freedom.
